Newsletter Date	Important Announcements
January 2012	If you are a LPA Company parent, please join us on Friday January 20th @ 7:00PM for our FIRST annual Mid Year BAllet Recital. Our winter music recital will be held Saturday January 21st @ 1:00PM. Any outstanding costume payments for our end of year production need to be paid by Jan 31st.
December 2011	The studio will be closed from December 19-31 for Christmas and New Years. LaBelle Performing Arts Company performed in the Pensacola Christmas Parade Saturday December 10. Look for pictures and videos on our Facebook page!
November 2011	Please come support our dancers at the Gulf Coast Arts Festival on November 5-6. Costume week will be November 12-19. Students and parents need to attend their classes to get measured and make final costume payments.
October 2011	The studio will hold a dance party fundraiser on Saturday October 29th. This party is for students of LPA. Don’t forget to wear a costume to class the entire week of Oct. 24-29th. Pay one dollar each time you join in. Last year’s costumes were amazing so let’s make it a success this year!!
September 2011	Welcome back, and thank you for giving us the opportunity to work with you this year. We are so very excited about the 2011-2012 school year! LaBelle Performing Arts has blossomed into an amazing dream come true, and we are so thankful that you are a part of that dream.
May 2011	The LaBelle Performing Arts (LPA) Music Department will hold its recital this Saturday May 14th beginning at 1:00. Showcase Tech Rehearsals will be at the UWF Theater. It is located in Building 82, 11000 University Parkway on the UWF Campus. You can find directions and a map on our website at Showcase Information.
April 2011	The LaBelle Performing Arts (LPA) Music Department is proud to announce that our first ever Musical Theatre Class is going to present HAVEN'T A CLUE, Saturday, April 9th at 2:00 PM. Master Classes with Albee Friday April 15th. Classes will be open to all students for $15.00/class.
March 2011	Attendance to classes and rehearsal is extremely important. Please plan on attending our Theatre Bunco Tournament March 19th at 5:00. The tournament will be held at our studio to raise money for microphones for this year’s production. Our grand prize winner will receive a luxury weekend package for two at Wind Creek Casino including spa treatments, and dinner at Fire. Please invite your friends!!!
February 2011	Attendance to classes and rehearsal is extremely important. If you are aware of any absences that will take place between February and June please advise your teacher. Please plan on attending our Theatre Bunco Tournament March 19th at 5:00. The tournament will be held at our studio to raise money for microphones for this year’s production.
January 2011	Happy New Year! Now that we are in the second half of our school year, we will begin to focus on competition and recital pieces. Attendance to classes and rehearsal is extremely important. If you are aware of any absences that will take place between January and June please advise your teacher.
December 2010	The studio will be closed December 20th –January 2nd for the Christmas and New Years holidays. A mandatory Workshop and Auditions for the Home School Programs will be held January 15th and classes begin January 21st. Both programs will include performance opportunities. November 2010	Next week classes will be open to our parents for observation. We are extremely proud of our students work and hope that you will come and show your support. These classes will also include time for costume measurements to be taken for the end of year productions. Please be sure that at least one parent is present during each class to attend to your child’s needs. Costume payments are due by November 20th.
October 2010	During this month, if you refer a new student to LPA you will receive a $10 credit to your account. Jacob Patrick will be in town November 3rd and 4th for Hip-Hop master classes.
September 2010	Brian and I would like to welcome everyone back. We are so excited to begin the 2010-2011 year. Last year was amazing, but we hope to incorporate some of the suggestions made in the end-of-year evaluations to better serve our students.
May 2010	We will be holding extra rehearsals for “The Enchanted Wardrobe” and our afternoon recital “LaBelle’s Enchanted”. Please check your emails and our walls regularly for announcements and schedules. These rehearsals are needed to pull certain dances together.
April 2010	Your students should have received their costumes for the end of year concert this week. If there are any questions about this please notify the front desk so that they can be addressed. Don't Forget, Yearbook ads are due!
March 2010	Don't Forget, yearbook ads are due back no later than Saturday April 17th. If you sell the most (minimum of $1000.00 in sells) you will be featured on the cover of our souvenir program.
February 2010	Beginning Feb 1st, students who arrive late to classes will receive a tardy mark. Allowances will be made for students whose classes overlap. Thank you for your understanding, and continued support!!
January 2010	Welcome back! We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and New Years. Now it's time to work off the Turkey! We now offer Zumba and many other fitness classes!!
December 2009	December is here and we are so excited to be celebrating with all of our students, families, and staff members this holiday season. Please join us at the Pensacola Christmas Parade December 12 (we are number 29) and cheer on your school!!
November 2009	Dear Parents and Students Recital dates have been changed. Please make a Note!! Tech Week will be June 14th - 19th. Day and evening rehearsals will be held. Production performances will be Thursday June 17th (7:00pm), Friday June 18th (7:00pm), and Saturday June 19th (6:00pm). The Showcase is Saturday June 19th (12:00pm).
October 2009	Thank you to all the parents and students for an awesome start!! This month we welcomed some new staff members and classes to the team at LaBelle. We also performed at Angel’s Art Festival downtown and the Wet and Wild Festival at Big Lagoon State Park.
September 2009	Welcome back!! We are so excited about the 2009/2010 school year. To kick things off, we have added a new art department lead by Ashley Brigham. In addition we have greatly expanded our music department!!
June 2009	Summer Class registration is open! Check out our Summer Programs.
May 2009	Updated 5/14/09! Due to ticket demand we have added an additional performance of "Through the Looking Glass" on Thursday, June 11 at 7 pm (Please note the later start time). Please check out the updated Tech Week Schedule for "Through the Looking Glass" and "LPA's Looking Glass. If your are not sure what Act your child is performing in for "Through the Looking Glass", you can see the dance breakdown here.
April 2009	Please Spread the Word!!!! Through The Looking Glass (Friday and Saturday Showcase) and LPA’S Looking Glass (Saturday Afternoon Recital) June 12 & 13 at UWF.
March 2009	We will hold costume week March 30th through April 3rd for select classes. Remaining costumes will be given out as soon as they arrive.
February 2009	Pilates will begin in March from 5:15-6:15 on Mondays. The charge is $10.00/class or $40.00/month. Please sign up at the front desk.
January 2009	LPA will host Katee Shean from So You Think You Can Dance on March 14th, the cost of the classes will be $40.00/class for non LPA Students and $35.00/class for LPA Recreational Students.
